A growing Cleveland-area HVAC and mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager & Estimator to oversee commercial HVAC projects from estimating and bidding through project completion. This role is ideal for a driven professional with strong HVAC/mechanical construction experience and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Prepare HVAC estimates, bids, budgets, and proposals
- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
- Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Coordinate materials, equipment, subcontractors, and schedules
- Prepare and manage change orders
- Attend project meetings and maintain client communication
- Support Field Superintendents and internal project teams
- Ensure safety compliance and maintain project documentation
Qualifications
- HVAC and/or mechanical construction experience required
- Experience estimating and managing commercial HVAC projects
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and mechanical codes preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, and PlanGrid
- Estimating software experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus
