Autocad Fire Alarm Drafter Requirements & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of drafting experience with projects utilizing AutoCAD
- Fire alarm, or electrical drafting expereince is a Plus!
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and codes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work 5 days onsite in Brooklyn, NY
Autocad Fire Alarm Drafter Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys to assess fire risk and building layouts
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to define project requirements
- Prepare detailed schematics and shop drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with codes and manufacturer requirements
- Develop submittals and material lists for fire alarm installations
- Communicate with local officials, engineers, and customers regarding fire safety designs
- Stay current with advancements in fire alarm technology and relevant regulations
- Support additional team initiatives and tasks as assigned
