Assistant Restaurant Manager Responsibilities
- Train, coach, and direct the front-of-house team
- Build respectful relationships with every member of the team while holding them accountable
- Manage high standards while paying attention to every detail
- Focus with the team on creating fun, unforgettable guest experiences every time
- Keep operations running smoothly in a very high-volume environment
- Create FOH schedules and manage FOH labor
Assistant Restaurant Manager Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in a full-service front-of-house management role in a high-volume, systems-oriented casual or upscale-casual environment
- Solid and proven leadership qualities: friendly, coach mentality, lead by example, and uphold restaurant standards
- Thick skin to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to maintain standards, exceed expectations, and build relationships
- Proactive problem-solver and hands-on work ethic
