Experienced Construction Litigation Attorney Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive base salary starting around $215,000+, with flexibility based on experience
- Exceptional candidates may command compensation exceeding $250,000
- 1,850 billable hour requirement with bonus eligibility beginning at 1,950 hours, including a $10,000 bonus opportunity and additional production-based incentives

Experienced Construction Litigation Attorney Requirements & Qualifications
- Active Florida Bar license in good standing
- 7+ years of litigation experience
- Substantive construction litigation experience
- Complex litigation experience required
- Ability to independently manage litigation matters from inception through resolution with minimal supervision
- Experience handling hearings, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and court appearances
- Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and courtroom presence
- Strong academic credentials preferred
- Ability to work full-time in the Tampa office
Experienced Construction Litigation Attorney Background & Skills
- Experience representing owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, or construction-related businesses
- Experience handling construction defect claims, contract disputes, delay claims, payment disputes, and related construction litigation matters
- Experience working with construction experts and technical consultants
- Familiarity with construction contracts and risk allocation issues
- Experience working collaboratively within a litigation team while also managing matters independently
- Demonstrated business development aptitude and relationship-building skills
- Strong client-service orientation and business-minded approach to legal practice
Experienced Construction Litigation Attorney Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage complex construction litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, briefs, and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other court proceedings
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and witnesses
- Collaborate with partners and attorneys across the firm's construction practice
- Analyze construction contracts, project documentation, and technical records
- Work closely with experts and consultants in support of litigation strategy
- Provide practical legal guidance and strategic counsel to construction industry clients
- Participate in client development and business generation efforts
