Period Bonus
The period bonus consists of two components:

• 1% of Area EBITDA, calculated based on restaurant-level EBITDA less all G&A expenses charged to cost centers under the Area Director’s supervision (including their own). If the Area Director is also serving as a GM and receiving a GM Profit Bonus for that restaurant, that store’s EBITDA is excluded from this calculation.
Annual Bonus
The annual bonus is structured as follows:
• Total period bonuses paid during the fiscal year × 12.5%, contingent upon prior-year area sales goals being met
• Total period bonuses paid during the fiscal year × 12.5%, contingent upon budgeted restaurant-level EBITDA goals being met
Annual bonuses are paid after fiscal year close, typically on or around November 15 of the following fiscal year.
