Assistant General Manager Benefits and Compensation

Assistant General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in restaurant management in full-service, high-volume restaurants (fine dining strongly preferred)
- Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong food, beverage, and service knowledge
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
- Demonstrated skill in inspiring, motivating, and developing employees
- Flexible and adaptable to ongoing operational changes
- Experience with reservation and guest management platforms such as Resy and Tock preferred
Assistant General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Fine dining, tasting menu, or Michelin-level service experience
- Passion for hospitality-driven dining experiences
- Strong understanding of wine, beverage programs, or pairing principles
- Track record of maintaining consistent service standards and guest satisfaction
- Strong collaboration with both FOH and BOH teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Creative problem-solving and strong organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture
