National Technical Sales & Support Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of industrial or technical B2B sales experience
- Experience supporting customer applications and technical product selection
- Strong understanding of electrical technical product specifications and industrial applications
- Ability to translate customer requirements into product solutions and troubleshoot application issues
- Proven customer communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills
- Highly organized, self-directed, and able to balance commercial and technical responsibilities
National Technical Sales & Support Manager Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience working with manufacturer representatives, distributors, or OEM customers
- Previous leadership or team mentorship experience
National Technical Sales & Support Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Own and manage customer relationships across the United States and Canada, serving as the primary contact for sales and technical support
- Drive revenue growth across OEM, distributor, representative, and end-user channels
- Lead and develop the inside sales team, setting daily priorities and guiding commercial and technical communications
- Manage manufacturer representative relationships and drive accountability to sales targets and market development
- Provide first-level technical support, including product selection, application guidance, and troubleshooting
- Maintain CRM data, sales pipeline visibility, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and leadership on product issues, market intelligence, and sales initiatives
