A well-established Italian restaurant in Charlotte is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to oversee daily kitchen operations and uphold high standards of consistency, quality, and hospitality. This is a hands-on leadership role within a respected, growth-oriented restaurant group known for scratch-made food and strong operational systems.
Chef de Cuisine Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary $75,000–$80,000
- Performance-based profit sharing bonus
- 100% employer-paid medical and dental insurance
- PTO (eligible after 6 months)

Chef de Cuisine Requirements & Must-Haves
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in a high-volume Italian kitchen
- Strong knowledge of authentic Italian cuisine, sauces, and cooking techniques
- Systems-driven leader who ensures consistency, cleanliness, and standards are met daily
- Skilled in ordering, inventory management, COGS, and labor controls
- Hands-on operator with presence, composure, and a calm leadership style
- Excellent communicator who leads by example and holds teams accountable
- Loyalty – 2 years or more tenure with previous employers – no more than 3 jobs in 5 years
Chef de Cuisine Preferred Background & Skills
- Background in scratch-made, multi-concept or high-volume restaurant groups
- Proven ability to train, coach, and develop back-of-house teams
- Strong business acumen with a focus on profitability and efficiency
- High integrity, grit, and passion for doing things right every time
