Financial Systems Analyst – Houston, TX

Financial Systems Analyst Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive base salary ($80K–$100K), commensurate with experience
- Hybrid work program after 60 days (3 days in office, 2 days remote; Tuesdays and Wednesdays are in-office)

Financial Systems Analyst Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in a financial systems analyst or ERP systems role
- In-depth familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains), including implementation and customization
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, reporting, and integration services
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder and vendor engagement
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies
- Ability to perform manual data input for up to 50% of an 8-hour day
Financial Systems Analyst Preferred Background & Skills
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as JavaScript or Python
- Experience with ETL tools, API integrations, and business intelligence strategies
- Familiarity with report writers, OLAP software, or IBM Planning Analytics
- Understanding of Windows Remote Desktop Services
Financial Systems Analyst Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Administer and support the organization’s ERP platform, primarily Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Customize and configure Dynamics GP functionality and related third-party modules to meet business needs
- Lead process design, documentation, testing, and implementation of system upgrades and enhancements
- Integrate data using ETL tools and API programming, ensuring smooth workflow across systems
- Produce and deliver reports and ad hoc analyses in support of business objectives
- Partner with accounting and other business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions
