Senior Civil Design Engineer (P.E.)
Location: Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid Schedule)
Salary: $125,000 – $175,000 DOE

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer (P.E.) to join a growing engineering team supporting large-scale federal and military construction projects throughout the United States and Caribbean.
This is a highly design-focused role for an engineer who enjoys developing technical solutions, leading site and infrastructure design efforts, and driving projects from concept through construction. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in grading, drainage, utility, and site development design and enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead the civil design and engineering efforts for commercial and federal construction projects.
- Develop and oversee grading, drainage, utility, stormwater, and site development designs.
- Prepare site layout plans, earthwork calculations, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and permitting packages.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create and manage design models and construction documents.
- Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review design constraints and develop practical, cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Conduct site visits and provide construction-phase support as needed.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable federal, military, environmental, and industry standards.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License required.
- 10+ years of civil engineering design and project delivery experience.
- 6+ years of experience focused on grading, drainage, utility, and site development design.
- Strong background in land development, infrastructure, building pads, and civil site design for new construction projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
- Department of Defense (DoD) project experience preferred.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- $125,000 – $175,000 annual salary, depending on experience.
