This high-growth startup operates at the intersection of music, fintech, and SaaS. Their platform improves transparency and accuracy in credit attribution, publishing workflows, and royalty distribution—ensuring creators receive proper credit and compensation.
The team is scaling quickly and investing heavily in product and engineering.
The Opportunity
This Software Engineer will play a key role in architecting and scaling core systems, including:
- Metadata ingestion and credit tracking infrastructure
- Publishing and rights management workflows
- Payment and royalty processing systems
- Secure API integrations with third-party platforms
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Design while contributing to architecture decisions, performance optimization, and infrastructure strategy.
What They’re Looking For
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong backend experience (Node.js, Python, Ruby, Go, etc.)
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, etc.)
- RESTful API design and distributed systems knowledge
- Database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Nice to have:
- Exposure to music metadata standards (ISRC, ISWC, DDEX)
- Experience in fintech, payments, or royalty platforms
- SaaS startup experience
