Primary duty is to be regularly engaged, daily, in developing new customers and meeting with new and existing customers at their businesses to produce recurring sales of fire protection services.
Essential Functions- including but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers through Customer Relationship Management, which involves regular face-to-face meetings with clients at their business locations.
- Identify potential clients and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other sales strategies.
- Conduct on-site assessments to determine client needs and recommend appropriate fire protection equipment and services.
- Create proposals for service and or repairs on fire protection systems and equipment, well as other fire protection services as needed.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients.
- Process sales and obtain orders or contracts for services.
- Follow-up on leads, proposals, quotes and contract renewal.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
- Answer customer inquiries.
- Enter work orders as needed and ensure proper time and material is listed.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals.
- Assist in all sales functions as needed.
- Perform periodic field inspections to assure quality of work.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of sales and marketing campaigns.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in fire protection technology and attend industry and networking meetings.

Requirements
Qualifications, Experience and Education- including but not limited to:
- Proven track record of success in fire protection sales or a related field.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Experience selling fire protection services and equipment is required.
- Previous experience with outside sales is required.
- Perform simple tasks independently.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to meet sales targets and productions goals.
- Familiar with industry's rules and regulations.
- Ability to travel to various job customer sites and locations is required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
