We are seeking a dynamic, culinary-driven Banquet Chef to lead the daily operations of our banquet kitchen, overseeing on-site events, off-site catering, and café production within our upscale hospitality environment. This role is responsible for executing high-volume banquets and receptions, managing kitchen staff and stewarding operations, and ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency across all events.

Banquet Chef Responsibilities:
- Oversee all banquet kitchen operations, including on-site events, off-site catering, and café production
- Lead and supervise Chef de Partie, cooks, and stewarding team members
- Develop training programs and foster a positive, accountable kitchen culture
- Collaborate with Executive Chef and event teams on menu planning and customization
- Execute hot, cold, canapé, dessert, and reception-style production with consistency and precision
- Manage inventory, ordering, and event-based forecasting
- Monitor food cost, portion control, and labor efficiency to meet financial goals
- Review BEOs and ensure accurate execution of timing, presentation, and dietary accommodations
Banquet Chef Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of high-volume banquet kitchen experience
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a culinary environment
- Strong skills in hot production, garde manger, baking, and pastry
- Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holiday
