Sous Chef Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–5 years experience as a Sous Chef in high-volume or upscale dining
- Strong skills in pizza making and dough fermentation
- Experience working with wood-fired ovens preferred
- Solid understanding of scratch kitchen operations
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Sous Chef Preferred Background & Skills:
- Knowledge of Neapolitan or artisanal pizza techniques
- Italian language skills are a strong advantage
- Experience collaborating with culinary leadership in a team-oriented environment
Sous Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain wood-fired pizza ovens with consistency and care
- Execute dough fermentation, proofing, and daily prep processes
- Maintain outstanding food quality, presentation, and station cleanliness
- Support ingredient quality control, inventory, and product rotation
- Uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure an exceptional guest experience
