Pre Construction Project Manager

Pre Construction Project Manager. What You’ll Do
• Lead concrete construction projects from initial planning through closeout with full ownership of scope, budget, and schedule.
• Develop and manage preconstruction plans, budgets, labor forecasts, and critical path schedules.
• Track weekly labor and production with field leaders to ensure accuracy, cost efficiency, and alignment with projected budgets.
• Manage productivity, quality, cost control, and safety across all stages of construction.
• Coordinate planning, formwork approaches, logistics, and schedules with operations leadership.
• Maintain consistent communication with project stakeholders to ensure alignment of expectations and deliverables.
• Oversee material buyouts, vendor communication, and timely jobsite delivery.
• Prepare and issue proposals, budgets, RFPs, change orders, and preliminary schedules.
• Monitor project performance, quality benchmarks, and field-level execution.
• Participate in internal and client meetings to plan requirements, milestones, and field coordination.
• Maintain contract execution logs and ensure proper documentation for all changes.
• Complete all project closeout requirements and documentation.
• Share process improvements and lessons learned to enhance company standards.
• Provide leadership updates on project risks, production status, and budget performance.
Pre Construction Project Manager. Requirements
• Five or more years of experience in commercial concrete construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• In-depth understanding of concrete systems, formwork methods, and commercial construction practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once without sacrificing accuracy or quality.
• Strong organization and time management capabilities.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Ability to solve complex construction challenges efficiently and independently.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with field teams, executives, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven project environment.
• Ability and willingness to visit jobsites as needed.
Pre Construction Project Manager. Preferred Experience
• OSHA certification.
• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Experience using AutoCAD or Tekla.
