This is a key leadership role within the kitchen, working closely with senior leadership and the Chef de Cuisine to support daily operations, production, and service execution. PM Sous Chef Requirements & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in high-end kitchens, Michelin experience preferred
- Strong leadership experience supporting or managing kitchen teams
- Long-term commitment and desire to grow within a fine dining environment
- Strong organizational skills across inventory, storage systems, and ordering
- Experience with professional kitchen equipment and refined cooking techniques
- California Food Handler’s certification required (manager certification a plus)
- Clean work habits with strong attention to detail
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and reliability
PM Sous Chef Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in Michelin-starred or fine dining kitchens
- Proven ability to support production, service execution, and team leadership
- Strong butchery skills, including whole animal and heritage protein breakdown
- Experience with structured inventory systems and order management
- Ability to guide, teach, and support junior kitchen staff
- Strong communication skills across BOH and FOH teams
- Ability to perform as a key leader during dinner service and closing
- Experience supporting private events and elevated service execution
- Commitment to upholding and reinforcing kitchen culture and standards
