Sales Director Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive base salary ($75,000–$85,000) plus uncapped commission
- On-target earnings of $125,000+; top performers achieve $200,000+

Sales Director Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in security integration, access control, CCTV, or fire alarms
- Comfortable with face-to-face cold calls and in-person client meetings
- Demonstrated success as a sales hunter focused on acquiring new customers
- Proven ability in sales operations and strategic sales planning
- Strong customer service, communication, and negotiation skills
- Track record of business development and growing revenue
- Experience selling to contractors, real estate developers, or building managers is especially valuable.
Sales Director Preferred Background & Skills
- Background in security or technology systems integrator industry strongly preferred
- Experience working with developers, general contractors, electrical contractors, or building managers
- Familiarity with both new construction and retrofit (“rip and replace”) sales cycles
Sales Director Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Proactively build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities (approximately 80% new business)
- Conduct face-to-face outreach, including walk-in cold calls to prospects
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive company growth
- Prepare and deliver timely quotes for both new and renewal business
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
