oin the opening team of a New American restaurant, bar, and private event venue. We’re seeking a Floor & Beverage Manager who will lead front-of-house operations, ensuring every guest enjoys a polished, memorable experience in a chef-driven, beverage-forward environment. This role is perfect for a hospitality leader with strong wine and beverage expertise and a passion for mentoring teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Recruit, train, and manage staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Guide and educate team members on wine, beer, and elevated guest service.
- Confidently recommend wines and pairings to guests, supporting an upscale beverage program.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food quality standards.
- Monitor inventory, schedules, budgets, and operational efficiency.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to optimize workflow and guest experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years in a managerial role in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Extensive wine knowledge, including varietals, styles, regions, and service standards.
- Experience leading a bar program and supporting staff education.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, scheduling, timekeeping, and food safety regulations.
- Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving and employee relations skills.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
