Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
- Analyze commercial general liability and excess insurance policies to assess coverage issues and obligations
- Draft coverage opinions and provide strategic coverage advice to insurer clients
- Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and related litigation documents
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on complex insurance and commercial litigation issues
- Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and meet-and-confer discussions
Associate Attorney Requirements:
- Admission to practice law in California
- 3–9 years of experience in insurance coverage, coverage litigation, or commercial litigation
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
