We are seeking an organized, client-focused Conference Planner & Sales Coordinator to manage the planning and execution of conferences, meetings, and special events, while providing light sales coordination support. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels in event logistics, client communication, and on-site execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute conferences and events from inquiry through post-event follow-up
- Serve as the primary client contact for event logistics, timelines, and requirements
- Coordinate room setups, audiovisual needs, catering, décor, and vendors
- Manage event budgets, service orders, and timelines
- Oversee on-site event execution and resolve issues in real time
- Support sales with proposals, contracts, CRM updates, and internal handoffs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in conference planning, event coordination, or hospitality
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event or CRM systems
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
