We are an approachable fine dining restaurant seeking a passionate, driven, and hands-on Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team. This role is ideal for a strong kitchen leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is committed to excellence, consistency, and hospitality at every level of service. The Executive Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership team to oversee daily kitchen operations while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, organization, cleanliness, and execution.

Executive Sous Chef – Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of management experience in an Exec Sous Chef or similar leadership role within a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- Strong passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences through food
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining organization and attention to detail
- Strong culinary fundamentals including ingredient sourcing, cooking techniques, preparation methods, and kitchen operations
- NYC Department of Health Food Protection Certification required
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and operational best practices
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing kitchen teams
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
- Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Executive Sous Chef – Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience working in culinary-forward or chef-driven concepts
- Strong leadership presence with a hands-on management style
- Experience managing food ordering, inventory, prep systems, and production organization
- Ability to collaborate closely with Front of House leadership to ensure seamless service execution
- Experience with menu implementation, special events, and operational planning
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and delegation skills
- Knowledge of or experience with Korean cuisine is a plus, but not required
- Passion for mentorship, team development, and creating a positive kitchen culture
