WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
-Improving the sales, profitability, and performance of the business year over year
· Compliance with all operating and quality standards.
· Ensures positive Guest relations and recovery program.
· Compliance with all operating and cost control tools.
· Spearheaded annual budgeting of capital expenditures and business planning process.
· Maintaining the physical equipment in a like-new condition.
· Operating the facility and addressing safety/security concerns as necessary.
· Serve Safe Food Program compliance.
· With the assistance of a Management Team, enforcing compliance with all employment policies.
· Development of management staff through delegation, training, and follow-up.
· Facilitates management meetings ensures transitional meetings are completed and ensures labor goals for each shift.
· Proactively manages all activities that affect the revenue, COGS, and guest experience
· Ensures the daily essential operating procedures are being completed consistently and correctly.
· Manages all line items above EBITDA on the P&L and ensures compliance with all cost control systems.
· Oversees team member recruitment, hiring, development, training, accountability, and progressive discipline and discharge.
· Interacts with Guests and ensures guests exceptional service standards are met.
· Maintains a harassment-free work environment.
· Capitalize business opportunities in the market area by executing company marketing strategies to drive sales
· Maintain systems that ensure overall fiscal responsibility for inventory control, including pars and proper ordering
· Assures staffing levels and management coverage are appropriate to maximize the customer experience while maintaining the labor budget for the business
· Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to grow revenue and control expenses to meet or exceed annual budgets
· Actively participate in surrounding community activities and events to create awareness of the organization.
· As a self-directed, self-driven leader, must possess the ability to oversee the business in the absence of a regional manager – YOU ARE THE BOSS!
WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE TABLE?
· Close ties to N. Dallas and a desire to be a long-term part of the N. Dallas community.
· Minimum of 5 years of proven single or multi-unit experience in Theme Parks, Family Entertainment Centers, Hotels, Resorts, Casinos, or Restaurants
· Management as a General Manager or Director-Level
· Experience in a high-volume setting
· A results-driven individual with a demonstrated record of prior success
· Excellent interpersonal skills with guests and team members
· Strong leadership qualities
· Ability to create and implement marketing and promotion strategies in conjunction with the ownership group.
· Excellent communication skills
· Highly organized and strong work ethic
· Ability to enthusiastically interact with others
· Strong character and exercises good judgment in decision-making
· Must be professional, energetic, self-motivated, and able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude
· Adaptability, flexibility, and general enthusiasm for the business
· Strong communication skills; ability to write and verbally communicate in a clear and concise manner
· Ability to establish working relationships with all employees, management, other community business leaders, and vendors
· Ability to maintain and project professionalism, internally and externally, at all times
· Can create and communicate a vision for the park
· Flexible in approach; can readily adapt to business and team needs and changes
