What you’ll need as a Manufacturing Engineer:
- 4+ years of experience in a machine shop or similar manufacturing environment
- Hands-on CNC experience; 2+ years of programming experience
- Experience with metal cutting tools, holders, fixtures, and workholding
- Ability to work across multiple machine types, including lathes, machining centers, Swiss-type lathes, and manual equipment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Must be a team player willing to help across a 5-person department
- Valid driver’s license
Skills/Background needed as a Manufacturing Engineer:
- Espirit CAD/CAM, MasterCam
- Familiarity with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gages, CMM, and Optical Comparator
- Exposure to Swiss machining
- Experience supporting machinists during setup and troubleshooting CNC programs
- Continuous improvement mindset, with experience in cycle time reduction and process optimization
