We’re seeking a reliable, experienced General Manager to oversee a bar-focused operation in the La Crosse area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can run day-to-day operations with consistency, accountability, and care.
This is a boots-on-the-ground role—not a desk job. You’ll be actively involved in daily operations, leading a small team, and ensuring smooth execution across all shifts. There’s no scratch kitchen—just simple bar fare like frozen pizzas—but strong service standards, clean operations, and a people-first mentality are essential.
What You’ll Get:
- $65,000 base salary
- Up to $5,000 in bonus potential tied to sales growth, staff development, liquor cost, and labor control
- Paid time off and bonus eligibility
- Autonomy and ownership over day-to-day operations
- Support from a seasoned leadership team
- Full-time | Estimated 55 hours/week
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure the bar is open, staffed, clean, stocked, and running smoothly
- Train, coach, and hold team members accountable to standards
- Manage labor, liquor cost, and sales performance
- Drive promotions and local engagement
- Be hands-on with opening/closing, problem-solving, and team support

- Ability to lead a small team with confidence and consistency
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
