Veterinary Surgeon – Specialty Surgical Practice (Greater Boston Area)

This independently owned, multi-location surgical group in the Greater Boston area is seeking an ACVS Diplomate or residency-trained Veterinary Surgeon with orthopedic and/or soft tissue experience to help support continued growth and exceptional patient care.

Veterinary Surgeon Qualifications
- ACVS Diplomate or completion of a surgical residency program required
- Experience or strong interest in orthopedic and/or soft tissue surgery
- Commitment to exceptional patient outcomes and high-quality medicine
- Strong communication skills with both clients and referring veterinarians
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a positive leadership approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced specialty surgical environment
- Passion for mentorship, clinical growth, and continued learning
- Interest in contributing to the growth and development of a progressive practice
- Client-focused approach with strong emotional intelligence and professionalism
- Eligible for veterinary licensure in the state of Massachusetts
Veterinary Surgeon Responsibilities
- Perform advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgical procedures
- Provide thorough case management from consultation through recovery
- Collaborate closely with surgical technicians, ER partners, and referral vets
- Deliver compassionate, client-centered communication and education
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records within integrated EMR systems
- Participate in treatment planning and ongoing patient care discussions
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative team culture
- Help advance clinical standards and support continued practice growth
- Utilize advanced imaging and diagnostic tools
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the referral community
