We are seeking a relationship driven Inside Sales Manager to support and convert inbound foodservice opportunities across operators, distributors, and wholesale accounts. This is not a cold-calling position. The role focuses on managing warm inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, food shows, distributor referrals, and customer inquiries.
This individual will play a key role in qualifying opportunities, coordinating follow-up, supporting customer needs, and helping drive revenue growth through strong communication, organization, and sales-cycle discipline.
Client Development Manager Job Description
- Manage and convert inbound sales leads
- Build relationships with foodservice operators and distributors
- Coordinate samples, pricing, product information, and follow-up
- Maintain accurate Salesforce CRM activity and pipeline updates
- Support the sales team with lead development and opportunity tracking
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, logistics, finance, and marketing
- Ensure timely communication and exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
Client Development Manager Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in foodservice, food manufacturing, distribution, CPG, or inside food sales
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing inbound leads and structured follow-up cycles
- Salesforce or CRM experience required
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
- Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
