General Manager – Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of management experience in culinary-forward, upscale restaurants, including senior leadership experience
- Proven success overseeing full restaurant operations, including FOH management, financial performance, and team leadership
- Strong experience with scheduling, labor management, and cost controls
- Hands-on leadership style with consistent floor presence and commitment to hospitality excellence
- Experience hiring, training, and developing high-performing teams
- Proficiency with Toast POS and Resy
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
General Manager – Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience working in chef-driven or culinary-focused concepts
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L management, and inventory oversight
- Proven ability to drive sales while maintaining exceptional guest experiences
- Strong training, mentorship, and culture-building background
- Guest recovery expertise and elevated hospitality instincts
- Experience managing private dining, events, and VIP guest relations
- Ability to collaborate closely with culinary leadership and ownership on operational strategy
