Corporate Business Development Manager Benefits and Compensation:

• $120,000 to $130,000 base salary

Corporate Business Development Manager Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 7+ years of marketing and business development experience within legal, professional services, financial services, consulting, or similar environments

• Strong background supporting corporate, private equity, transactional, or deal-driven practice areas

• Experience leading RFP responses, pitch materials, client presentations, and business development initiatives

• Proven success managing rankings, awards submissions, league tables, and experience databases

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

• Advanced communication and executive presentation skills

• Experience using CRM systems, pipeline tracking tools, and market research platforms

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to transform market intelligence into actionable business strategies

• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of operating independently in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams

 

Must Haves:

• Experience developing strategic business development plans and driving execution

• Background creating and managing client-facing marketing collateral and presentations

• Experience tracking ROI, pipeline activity, and conversion metrics

• Ability to lead seminars, sponsorships, conferences, and client engagement events

• Experience managing website content, thought leadership initiatives, social media strategy, and digital communications

• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and build trust across teams

Corporate Business Development Manager Preferred Background & Skills:

• Experience within a law firm or highly matrixed professional services organization

• Familiarity with private equity and corporate transactional environments

• Experience managing direct reports or mentoring junior team members

• Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategy and content development

• Experience supporting executive-level business growth initiatives

• Advanced Excel and reporting/dashboard capabilities

• Creative problem-solving skills with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset

• Ability to thrive in an evolving, growth-oriented environment
