We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented onsite HR Professional to join a busy corporate office on North Carolina’s beautiful Outer Banks. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives while multitasking, and takes pride in supporting both employees and day-to-day office operations.
HR Professional Responsibilities
- Manage employee onboarding and off-boarding processes
- Onboarding of H-2B and J-1 visa employees (experience appreciated but not required, training is available)
- Maintain employee benefits programs and 401(k) documentation
- Process workers’ compensation claims, unemployment claims, and related audits
- Assist with liability claims as needed
- Answer incoming calls and support general office operations
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
- Run occasional business errands, including mail pickup and bank deposits
HR Generalist Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience required
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Typing speed of 65+ WPM preferred
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Active North Carolina driver’s license with clean driving record
- Dependable transportation required
- High School Diploma or GED required
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday preferred (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Employer contributed Health benefits
- 401(k) participation after one year
- Two weeks of vacation after first year
