Responsibilities:
- Leads the execution of the highest quality of food, beverage, and service related to all outlets and banquet & event areas
- Provides leadership and coordination of all activities of the assigned Banquet department team
- Sets and maintains training standards throughout the department
- Spearheads the coordination of banquet service needs with food production
- Promotes effective communication within and between departments to ensure proper servicing of guests' expectations
- Embodies the highest level of professionalism and hospitality in guest relations in all guest contact. Interacts with banquet department associates as needed for guest service purposes
- Controls all costs and expenses to ensure budgetary and forecasted guidelines are met
- Manages accurate banquet function records and banquet checks
- Conducts monthly departmental meetings – F&B, BEO, Special Events, Quality, and Dept. Head meetings
Requirements:
- Independent Restaurant Fine Dining experience is a MUST!
- Hotel and/or Resort experience with banquet and events experience
- Minimum of a high school education
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related
- 3-5 years of experience in a full-service high-end hotel or resort with high-volume Banquets & Events
- Union operation experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and manage many tasks
