Complex Senior Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development and revenue generation across a dual-property sales complex
- Research, prospect, and secure new group opportunities with a strong emphasis on pharmaceutical and life sciences accounts
- Manage and grow relationships with senior-level decision makers including procurement leaders, corporate executives, and meeting planners
- Sell across two large convention hotels, optimizing room blocks, meeting space, and total revenue potential
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize occupancy, ADR, and group revenue contribution
- Negotiate complex group contracts within highly regulated environments, including pharmaceutical compliance and legal review processes
- Partner with corporate sales teams, convention bureaus, and third-party intermediaries to drive new demand
Complex Senior Sales Manager Requirements:
- 3+ years of senior-level hotel sales experience within a large-scale, convention, or resort environment
- Proven experience selling into the pharmaceutical or life sciences vertical (required)
- Strong background managing complex, long-cycle enterprise sales processes
- Experience handling large group business, meetings, and events in high-volume hotel environments
- Demonstrated success in new business development and pipeline generation (hunter mentality required)
- Strong contract negotiation experience, including working through legal and procurement review cycles
- Proficiency with hotel CRM systems (Delphi or similar strongly preferred)
- Experience selling into multi-property or complex hotel environments
- Strong commercial acumen related to group revenue production and forecasting
