The Director of Field Operations is responsible for translating corporate strategy into consistent, profitable execution across multiple dealership locations, with direct accountability for revenue, margins, and customer experience. The role ensures operational discipline, leadership alignment, and scalable performance while protecting brand standards and long-term enterprise value. Qualifed candidates should have experience managing P and L's of $400M annually and volume of at least 1000 cars per month.

Director of Field Operations Responsibilities
- Drive multi-location performance
- Own revenue, margin, and customer experience outcomes across assigned dealerships.
- Standardize and scale execution
- Implement and enforce consistent operating processes while allowing for market-level nuance.
- Lead and develop dealership leadership
- Coach, evaluate, and hold General Managers and senior leaders accountable to performance targets.
- Translate strategy into results
- Execute corporate initiatives, turnarounds, acquisitions, and integrations at the field level.
- Ensure governance and brand protection
- Maintain compliance with OEM standards, regulatory requirements, and brand expectations.
Director of Field Operations Qualifications & Experience
- Proven multi-unit leadership experience
- 10+ years leading high-volume, multi-location automotive or comparable retail operations.
- Strong financial and operational acumen
- Demonstrated success managing P&L performance and driving EBITDA improvement.
- Data-driven operator
- Fluency in KPIs, dashboards, and performance management systems.
- Executive-level leadership presence
- Ability to influence senior leaders, boards, and ownership groups.
- Change and scale capability
- Track record of leading turnarounds, integrations, or rapid growth environments.
