We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale multi-family and commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing teams and budgets, and is passionate about delivering high-quality projects on schedule and within budget.
The Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple projects, collaborate closely with architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors, and lead project teams through every phase of construction.
Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from preconstruction through warranty completion
- Track and manage project budgets, schedules, change orders, RFIs, submittals, warranties, and closeout documentation
- Build project budgets and schedules during development and financial application phases
- Collaborate with architects and engineers during design and value-engineering phases
- Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, and project buyouts
- Oversee project teams and provide leadership to assigned construction staff
- Ensure all safety standards and quality control measures are followed on job sites
- Coordinate with Safety and Quality Control teams throughout project execution
- Maintain strong communication with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Manage multiple fast-paced construction projects simultaneously
- Oversee phased construction projects and coordinate with property management teams when needed
- Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- 10+ years of Project Management experience in multi-family and/or commercial construction
- 5+ years of LIHTC experience required
- 5+ years of preconstruction experience
- Experience managing projects ranging from $8M–$15M
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, buyouts, and construction operations
- Procore or construction management software experience required
- Ability to oversee multiple projects and fast-track timelines simultaneously
- Experience with new construction, rehabilitation, and renovation projects
- Ability to create and manage CPM schedules and construction budgets
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Project Management certification preferred
