We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of large-scale construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and enjoys working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to keep projects organized and moving forward.
Responsibilities
- Assist with subcontractor bid requests, proposals, and prequalification processes
- Support project buyout activities and subcontractor scope reviews
- Maintain project schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and purchasing logs
- Track material lead times, fabrication dates, and project milestones
- Prepare meeting agendas and document meeting minutes
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation using Procore
- Coordinate communication between Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and owners
- Assist with permit coordination and utility requirements
- Monitor project schedules and help identify potential delays
- Support project safety initiatives and quality control efforts
- Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and closeout documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience
- 1–3 years of construction experience preferred, ideally in multi-family or commercial construction
- Familiarity with Procore Construction Management Software
- OSHA certification preferred or ability to obtain within required timeframe
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and accountability
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required
