We are seeking a recent graduate or entry-level CAD professional to join our fire sprinkler design team and learn how to produce shop drawings for commercial tenant improvement (TI) projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with an AutoCAD certificate or basic drafting experience who wants to build a career in fire protection engineering and construction.
You’ll be trained to:
- Draft fire sprinkler layouts for office, retail, medical, and mixed-use tenant improvements
- Read architectural and MEP plans and translate them into sprinkler design drawings
- Learn NFPA codes, hydraulic calculations, and local AHJ requirements
- Support senior designers and project managers through submittals and revisions
Ideal candidates:
- Have an AutoCAD certificate, drafting degree, or are a recent engineering/technology graduate
- Are detail-oriented and eager to learn a technical trade
- Want long-term growth in a specialized, in-demand industry
