Director of Distribution
A leading national distribution company is seeking an accomplished leader to oversee operations at a high-volume, multi-temperature distribution center. This is an influential opportunity to join a growing organization known for its commitment to excellence, safety, and employee development.
Director of Distribution Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive base salary ($90,000 – $95,000) plus performance bonus eligibility

Director of Distribution Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations
- Proven success managing multi-shift, high-volume distribution environments
- Experience leading large hourly teams and developing frontline managers
- Solid understanding of labor planning, productivity KPIs, and key operational metrics
- Demonstrated safety leadership and thorough knowledge of OSHA compliance
- Excellent communication, coaching, and collaboration abilities
Director of Distribution Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in foodservice distribution, grocery, or temperature-controlled logistics
- Lean, Six Sigma, or formal continuous improvement training/certification
- Hands-on experience with WMS/ERP implementation
Director of Distribution Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Set strategy and operational execution plans for a multi-temperature distribution center
- Lead and hold accountable a team of Operations Managers and their hourly teams across multiple shifts
- Oversee every aspect of daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order selection, shipping, and transportation coordination
- Monitor, analyze, and drive operational KPIs to ensure productivity and service excellence
- Uphold a culture centered on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Guide labor planning, scheduling strategies, and employee relations to build engagement and retain top talent
