Assistant Kitchen Manager

Assistant Kitchen Manager Responsibilities
- Support the leadership and development of the BOH team with a focus on consistency, cleanliness, and execution
- Assist in overseeing prep, line operations, and ticket flow in a high-volume scratch kitchen
- Help maintain food and labor cost targets through proper prep, ordering, and waste control
- Ensure safety, sanitation, and food quality standards are consistently upheld
- Partner with FOH leadership to ensure smooth service and a strong guest experience
- Train and mentor line cooks and prep team members; lead by example during peak shifts
Assistant Kitchen Manager Requirements
- 2+ years of BOH leadership experience (Sous Chef, AKM, or similar) in a full-service or polished casual concept
- Scratch kitchen experience required; new restaurant opening experience is a plus
- Solid understanding of food safety, inventory management, and labor controls
- High-energy, hands-on leadership style with a team-first mindset
- Stable work history; currently employed strongly preferred
