We are recruiting for an Assistant Guests Services Manager for an amazing Luxury Hotel in San Antonio. The person in this role will work across all guest-facing departments, including valet, guest services, front desk, and housekeeping, to ensure the highest level of guest service and adherence to only the highest standards. The person in this role will have an exceptional level of professionalism and polish, high emotional intelligence, and will be able to communicate effectively with all people- guest and team members alike. Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
Assistant Guest Services Manager Qualifications:
- 2+ years of guest-facing leadership in a Luxury Hotel
- Experience with Forbes standards highly preferred
- Excellent career trajectory and consistent, stable growth, with ambition to grow in the luxury hotel industry
- High level of polish and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to thoughtfully and tactfully de-escalate guest situations
- Influential leadership style with confidence and compassion
Assistant Guest Services Manager Responsibilities:
- Act as MOD as assigned
- Ensure all team members in all departments are providing the highest level of service and adhering to high standards
- Be present in guest-facing areas of the property, ensuring cleanliness and an inviting atmosphere
- Resolve guest situations with tact, diplomacy, and creativity
- Greet VIP guests and regular visitors upon arrival, anticipating needs
- Coordinate between departments on service and accommodations
- Other duties as assigned and as situations arise
