We are seeking a high-impact Director of Sales to lead a regional sales organization within the specialty food distribution space. This role will oversee a multi-state territory across Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma, leading a team of sales professionals while driving strategic growth across meat, seafood, and center-of-the-plate categories. The ideal candidate will bring strong food distribution leadership experience, a proven ability to grow business, and a hands-on leadership style focused on coaching, accountability, and customer relationships.

Requirements for the Role
- Previous leadership experience within food distribution required
- Meat, seafood, or center-of-the-plate industry experience required
- Broadline foodservice experience
- Experience managing and developing sales teams
- Strong business development and strategic account management background
- Ability to analyze sales performance, forecasting, and market trends
- Comfortable with a travel-heavy regional leadership role
- Must be based near Arlington, TX or open to relocating shortly after hire
Responsibilities for the Role
- Lead and develop a regional sales team covering TX, AR, and OK
- Manage approximately 10 direct reports across the territory
- Drive revenue growth through strategic planning, coaching, and customer engagement
- Support and strengthen key customer relationships throughout the region
- Coach teams on consultative selling, prospecting, and account growth strategies
- Analyze sales data, market conditions, and forecasting trends to guide decision-making
- Lead sales meetings, training initiatives, and performance management efforts
- Partner cross-functionally to support operational execution and customer satisfaction
- Ensure accountability to sales goals, performance metrics, and company initiatives
This is a hybrid position based near Arlington, TX and requires approximately 50–60% travel throughout the region. Candidates must either currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance or be open to relocation.
