Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead by example and train staff to follow restaurant procedures
- Meets restaurant financial objectives by preparing strategic and annual forecasts & budgets
- Accountable for the financial and operational performance of the restaurant
- Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy
- Motivate staff during busy shifts
- Build brand awareness through various media outlets
- Support strong financial results through labor and cost of goods management
- Building employee morale and reducing turnover
Restaurant General Manager Qualifications:
- Must come from a tourist corridor restaurant or hotel
- Currently in a General Manager or F&B role
- High-volume environment of $15M+ annually
- P&L accountability
- Must be able to speak to numbers with confidence
- Ability to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays
