Our client, a well-established food manufacturing operation, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a production shift in a USDA-regulated environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on supervisor who understands food safety, thrives on the production floor, and can drive safety, quality, and efficiency while leading large hourly teams.

Requirements & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production operations for an assigned shift
- Train, manage, and provide feedback to production employees and crew leads
- Enforce food safety, personal safety, GMP, and HACCP standards
- Ensure production efficiencies, quality targets, and staffing requirements are met
- Prepare daily efficiency and production reports
- Verify HACCP documentation and monitor compliance
- Troubleshoot production and equipment issues; coordinate with maintenance
- Ensure accurate product identification, weighing, and warehousing
- Maintain complete and accurate production paperwork
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of food processing experience (meat industry preferred)
- USDA and HACCP experience required
- Prior experience supervising large production teams (20+ employees)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Meat/Agriculture Science, Supply Chain, or related field
- BRC or advanced food safety exposure
