Vice President of Operations
Hospitality Group | Multi-Concept Restaurant Growth | Flexible Location
A growing, chef-driven hospitality group is seeking a Vice President of Operations to help lead the next stage of expansion across multiple restaurant concepts and markets. This is a high-impact leadership role for an operator who can bring structure without stripping away culture, build systems without becoming overly corporate, and lead with humility, accountability, and genuine hospitality.
This person will work closely with senior leadership across operations, HR, finance, culinary, and development to support existing restaurants, upcoming openings, leadership development, financial performance, and scalable operational systems. The right candidate will be comfortable moving between the restaurant floor, regional leadership, executive partners, and investor-level conversations with equal confidence.
What You’ll Do
You will help lead operations across a growing multi-unit restaurant group, partnering with market leaders, regional directors, GMs, and corporate leadership to improve consistency, strengthen systems, and support new restaurant openings.
Key areas of focus include:
- Supporting current restaurant operations while helping prepare the group for continued growth
- Turning operational challenges into repeatable systems, SOPs, and training processes
- Coaching and developing market managers, district/regional leaders, and GMs
- Partnering on new restaurant openings, leadership planning, and market-level readiness
- Driving performance across P&L, labor, COGS, revenue, profitability, guest experience, and team retention
- Ensuring restaurants maintain high standards for service, hospitality, culture, and execution
- Collaborating closely with ownership and senior leadership on decisions, priorities, and growth strategy
Who You Are
You are a hospitality-first operator who understands that great operations are built through people, clarity, consistency, and accountability. You are not afraid to step in when needed, but you also know how to lead through others instead of micromanaging.
You likely bring:
- Multi-unit restaurant, luxury hotel, boutique hotel, destination hospitality, or high-touch hospitality group experience
- Experience overseeing multiple concepts, markets, or property styles
- New restaurant opening experience
- Strong financial acumen across P&L, labor, COGS, sales, forecasting, and cost controls
- A track record of improving operations without compromising product, people, or culture
- The ability to coach, train, and hold leaders accountable with honesty and respect
- Comfort operating in a growth-stage environment where systems are still being built
- A low-ego, hands-on leadership style
What Will Make You Successful
This is not the right role for someone looking for a highly corporate, fully built-out structure. The group is growing, evolving, and building the plane while flying it. The ideal leader is self-driven, adaptable, collaborative, and able to bring order to complexity without needing everything to be perfect before taking action.
Success will come from someone who can identify gaps, create systems, hold teams accountable, stay flexible, and lead with a true “nothing is not my job” mentality.
Compensation + Benefits
- Base salary around $150,000

- Health benefits available after 30 days

- 3 weeks PTO
- Annual continuing education stipend
- Long-term bonus incentives
- Relocation assistance available
- Flexible location, with preference for candidates near key growth markets such as Dallas, Atlanta, or San Antonio
