We are seeking a dynamic Director of Integrated Media Planning to set the strategic direction for integrated media planning across diverse clients, channels, and teams. In this pivotal position, you will lead high-impact planning initiatives, collaborate closely with senior client stakeholders, and ensure that our media strategies are intricately tied to business objectives, creative execution, and performance outcomes. You will play a key role in shaping our agency’s planning processes while mentoring and developing our planning talent.

Responsibilities:
As the Director of Integrated Planning, you will combine strategic leadership, client partnership, and team development to drive success:
- Planning Leadership: Own and lead integrated media planning for key client accounts, from annual planning to campaign-level strategies.
- Strategic Frameworks: Define the role of various channels across the marketing funnel and establish planning frameworks aligned with client objectives.
- Audience Strategy: Guide audience segmentation and targeting approaches using both first- and third-party data.
- Measurement and KPIs: Collaborate with analytics and activation teams to define success metrics, learning agendas, and optimization frameworks.
- Senior Client Engagement: Act as a strategic partner to senior client stakeholders, leading planning discussions and presentations.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Ensure that planning is closely aligned with creative strategy, media activation, analytics, and execution.
- Innovation and Evolution: Identify and implement new planning approaches, tools, and methodologies to keep our agency at the forefront of integrated planning.
- Process and Standards: Establish best practices, templates, and planning standards agency-wide.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop planning talent at all levels, including Directors, Managers, and Senior Managers.
- Quality Control: Ensure all planning deliverables meet high standards for strategic clarity, rigor, and business impact.
Experience Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Experience Level: 10+ years of experience in media planning, integrated planning, or media strategy.
- Channel Expertise: Strong experience planning across digital channels; familiarity with offline media is a plus.
- Strategic Depth: Proven ability to lead complex, multi-channel planning initiatives.
- Analytical Fluency: Strong command of performance data, audience insights, and measurement frameworks.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing planning teams.
- Tools Proficiency: Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and media planning, research, and analytics tools.
- Education: BA/BS degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent executive-level communication skills, including client-facing presentations and strategic storytelling.
- Operational Strength: Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
