We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Kitchen Manager to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a strong back-of-house leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and takes pride in quality, consistency, cleanliness, and team development.
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for supporting daily back-of-house operations and helping lead the kitchen team to success. This role oversees food quality, kitchen organization, staff performance, prep and line execution, sanitation standards, and overall efficiency. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage our BOH employees
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager
- Creating schedules
- Manage labor, food costs and receive inventory
- Execute recipes using various machines and utensils from mixers to choppers and food processors to knives, spatulas and whisks
- Cook food over hot flame equipment in a timely and excellent manner
- Use of deep fryer
Qualifications:
- Able to speak primary language of the kitchen
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds
- Must work with sense of urgency
- Must have a positive attitude
- Able to effectively problem solve
- Able to meet deadline
