Senior Regional Director – Behavioral Health & Residential Services (New England)

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s strongly preferred (Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Public Health, or related)
- 8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles within behavioral health, human services, or healthcare
- Demonstrated leadership across multi-site or regional operations
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving revenue growth
- Experience within residential behavioral health or similar care settings
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and quality assurance
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel regionally
Must Haves:
- Lead cross-functional regional teams to standardize service delivery models and improve operational consistency across multiple locations
- Design and implement new program lines and expansion strategies to drive census growth and service diversification
- Oversee development of trauma-informed clinical training programs and ensure adoption across all service lines
- Analyze performance metrics (financial, clinical, and operational) to identify gaps and deploy targeted improvement initiatives
- Partner with finance and asset management to optimize resource allocation and long-term sustainability
- Serve as the primary regional representative to external stakeholders, including regulators, partners, and community organizations
- Drive high-impact initiatives such as facility development, program launches, and system-wide process improvements
Preferred Background & Skills:
- Master’s degree in a clinical discipline with active licensure (LICSW, LMHC, or equivalent)
- Experience overseeing multi-state operations or large-scale regional programs
- Background managing budgets exceeding $5M+
- Proven success in scaling programs and improving operational efficiency
- Experience with trauma-informed care models and residential treatment environments
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Track record of building high-performing leadership teams and improving retention
