A fast-growing California-based plaintiff litigation practice is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to handle Elder Abuse and Personal Injury matters. This role is ideal for a driven litigator who wants hands-on trial experience, a strong support system, and the opportunity to grow their professional profile while advocating for injured clients.
Personal Injury Attorney Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of elder abuse and personal injury matters from intake through resolution
- Represent clients in court appearances, including hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations
- Take and defend depositions and conduct discovery
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, including trial and mediation briefs
- Develop case strategies and ensure compliance with litigation deadlines
- Collaborate with legal staff and contribute to a team-oriented environment
Personal Injury Attorney Requirements:
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- Minimum 5 years of litigation experience, with a strong background in elder abuse cases
- Proven ability to manage cases independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel throughout California for court appearances and depositions
