We are seeking an accomplished Resort Manager to lead day-to-day operations at a premier luxury resort in Hawaii. Reporting to the General Manager, this role serves as the senior operational leader when the GM is overseeing multiple properties.
This opportunity is ideal for a proven luxury hospitality executive with deep experience in Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond environments, exceptional emotional intelligence, and a strong track record leading large, tenured teams.
Resort Manager Key Responsibilities
- Act as a culture carrier, embracing brand values, local culture, and the spirit of aloha
- Lead high-volume luxury operations across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Resort Operations
- Deliver exceptional Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond guest experiences
- Drive financial performance through labor management, expense control, and revenue optimization
- Lead capital projects while maintaining design integrity and guest experience
- Serve as the senior operational leader in the GM’s absence
- Build strong relationships with owners, members, guests, and the local community
Resort Manager Required Experience & Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond luxury resorts (required)
- Proven leadership in large-scale, complex resort operations
- Strong Food & Beverage background (preferred)
- Demonstrated success with capital project management
- Exceptional executive presence, emotional intelligence, and maturity
- No first-time resort managers will be considered
- Only candidates with current U.S. work authorization will be considered
Resort Manager Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $220,000 – $250,000
- Target Bonus: Up to 45%
- Exceptional relocation package and comprehensive benefits
