Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications
- Executive Chef or senior Sous Chef experience in upscale or fine dining environments
- Strong Mediterranean culinary background with a focus on seasonal, high-quality ingredients
- Proven experience leading catering and private dining programs, including off-site events
- Solid financial acumen including food cost control, inventory, and labor management
Must haves
- Ability to elevate and refine a Mediterranean-inspired menu with strong seafood and small plates focus
- Hands-on leadership style with active presence during service
- Experience executing chef-driven events such as tasting menus, wine dinners, and private functions
- Oversight of catering operations from menu development through execution
Executive Chef Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in chef-driven, independent restaurant concepts
- Exposure to high-level kitchens with award-driven or nationally recognized aspirations
- Strong creativity in plating, presentation, and seasonal menu evolution
- Ability to build brand reputation through events, media, and guest experience
