Human Resources Generalist Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a human resources generalist or in a similar HR position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational ability and attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Collaborative work style and ability to build relationships across teams
Human Resources Generalist Preferred Background & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
Human Resources Generalist Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, and general HR inquiries
- Lead employee orientation and support training initiatives
- Partner with HR leadership on employee relations matters and compliance with employment laws
- Manage recruitment logistics, onboarding documentation, and employment verifications
- Oversee the administration of payroll, benefits, and HRIS system processes
- Facilitate employee safety, wellness, and committee programs
- Ensure accurate regulatory compliance and HR reporting
