Vice President of Accounting – Greenville, SC – Full Relocation Package offered

Vice President of Accounting Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive base salary of $200-250k, plus bonus

Vice President of Accounting Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s degree preferred)
- CPA strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
- Background in banking or financial services required
- Public accounting experience (Big Four or similar) highly valued
- Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams
- Advanced knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS exposure a plus
- Experience with accounting systems, ERP environments, and process automation
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
- Excellent communication and executive presence
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check
Vice President of Accounting Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience managing revenue recognition, loan portfolio accounting, lease accounting, and tax provisions
- Talent for process improvement and operational automation
- Effective collaboration with international teams
Vice President of Accounting Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Oversee all core accounting activities including financial reporting, accounts payable, cash management, and financial controls
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP (and IFRS where applicable) and support audit processes
- Partner with the CFO and executive team on financial strategy, forecasting, and decision-making
- Drive process optimization, automation, and ERP/system enhancements
- Communicate clear, actionable financial insights to leadership and cross-functional partners
